All contracts apply to dates set by the BYU-I
Housing Office and are coordinated with BYU-I school
year calendar. For students moving in prior to the
start of a semester or staying after the semester ends,
there is a $15 fee per day.
A
security deposit of $100.00 is required along with your application
and contract. Rental payment is due in full on first day of
check-in. For monthly payment plans, there is an additional
$50 charge per semester along with first payment due the day of
check in.
All
cancellations must accompany a written notice. In the case that an
application is withdrawn the deposit converts to an application fee
and is subject to complete forfeiture of the deposit. If a deposit
is received without a contract, it is considered
incomplete. If a deposit is not received after signing a
contract, the application and contract is subject to cancellation.
For contract cancellations 60 days or less before the lease begins,
the individual is responsible for selling their
contract.
SECURITY DEPOSIT /
APPLICATION FEE: The payment of $100.00 serves as a security
deposit and includes a non-refundable $50 to defray processing
costs and fees. Those items which may be expensed against the
deposit include: late or unpaid rent, penalties and interest,
costs of collection, damage to the premises beyond usual wear and
tear.
*WE
